Since 2016, we have been blessed with a very active SVdP Conference here at St. Daniel. The Conference is a vital part of the community, offering emergency support and other resources to help enhance the lives of the less fortunate. In doing so, they also enhance their own lives through prayer and acts of mercy.
Their work is most often done behind-the-scenes. But your support is integral to the good work they do. So please take a few moments to read the information below to learn more about our St. Daniel SVdP Conference, the families they assist, and how you can help them to help those most in need.
SPECIAL NOTE:
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Daniel St. Vincent de Paul Conference using the online form below. Please include the name of the person you are remembering and any other comments in the comments field at the end of the Billing Information section. Thank you!
Assistance through a SVdP Conference is meant to meet emergency needs on a one-time basis. Those who come to us just need a helping hand.
As an SVdP Conference, we operate primarily within the St. Daniel parish boundaries, which include most of -- but not all of -- Clarkston.
If a neighbor in need who reaches out to us is outside of our parish boundaries, they are directed to the appropriate SVdP Conference or other help agency.
Often, the help needed is more than just one conference can handle on their own. We often "twin" (partner) with other conferences to help neighbors in need within their parish boundaries. Likewise, when we need help helping others, we reach out.
Thank you for helping us help those most in need!!!
